HHX is a somewhat unique cannabinoid found not in the trichomes of the cannabis flower, but rather in the seeds and pollen. It is obtained from THC through a hydrogenation process. THC is extracted from the cannabis plant using CO2 extraction and then sealed with hydrogen in a pressurized container to break the THC's carbon double bonds, resulting in a hydrogenated version: HHX. Since this cannabinoid is present in very small quantities in the plant, it is generally produced synthetically in a laboratory rather than directly extracted from the plant.
The effects of HHX are very similar to those of THC, such as feelings of euphoria, well-being, and relaxation. HHX cartridges do not contain THC.
